Who we are

Based in Milton Keynes but with a laptop that travels the world, A Way With Words is a freelance copywriting service that makes your words better and your life easier.

Providing a plethora of writing services, alongside an academic mind, I can quickly understand and research topics to produce professional copy that embodies your brand and engages your audience.

My background is in law, but my passion is in research and turning complex information into clear and concise copy. This means that I don’t stick to one particular industry, and my portfolio includes topics from eCommerce, IT and engineering to recruitment, hair care and even carp fishing.

Qualifications: CIPR Certificate in Internal Communications (Distinction), CIPR Certificate in Public Relations (Distinction),  Legal Practice Certificate (Distinction), LLB Law Degree (Hons 2:1), CIPD Level 5 Associate.

Skills: Adapting styles, SEO copy, research and CRM systems.

You matter more than anyone. We take the time to understand you, your business and your audience, to produce the content you dream of — with as little or as much input as you want.

What people are saying

I think the way you use words is inspirational and your services have been a real asset and added true value to my service.

Brett Leahy Head of Planning, Milton Keynes Council

Niki was able to take an article concept that 2 other writers had failed to grasp & produce a beautifully finished piece in no time. Very happy to have found A Way With Words.

The fact that I’m struggling to write this without asking A Way With Words to do it for me, is testimonial enough!

Alan Wilson CEO, Expandly

Niki is an extremely professional lady who knows her market audience and what to do to reach them. She is excellent at projecting a vision and can turn around anyone’s social media activity and, on a personal level, CV writing. I can highly recommend her skills and talent.

Sophie Cast Founder & Owner, Beauty Cast

Newport Pagnell Carnival owes a great deal of gratitude to Niki for her words. She has single-handedly grown our social media following, website traffic and exposure in the local press, which has resulted in exceptional engagement and attendance at our carnival.

Samantha McBrearty Chair, Newport Pagnell Carnival

Niki had a genuine desire to understand the concept of the story and my inspiration as an author before giving it her professional comprehensive appraisal. She was prompt, thorough and encouraging at all times. She has a natural flair with words, drawing engagement to a particular topic and I will definitely be using Niki for marketing and proofreading my future work.

W.V.J Elliott Children’s Author, Mallowbrook Hollow

Niki has a wonderful ability to work with very little guidance, to produce exactly what you want and more.
